Mission

The Long Term Services and Supports Task Force addresses the services and supports that enable individuals with disabilities of all ages to live in their homes and communities. In particular, the Task Force focuses on Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS), recognizing that they are the key to community integration, full participation, independent living, and economic self-sufficiency for many people with disabilities and older adults. These critical services make it possible for people with disabilities and older adults to fully exercise their civil and human rights.

ACTIVITIES

Long Term Services and Supports Task Force MFP and SI Sign On Letter The undersigned organizations, including members of the Disability and Aging Collaborative (DAC), the Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) Taskforce of the Consortium for Constituents with Disabilities (CCD), and other allied organizations, write to urge Congress to pass legislation to extend two critical bipartisan provisions that make community living a reality for people with disabilities and older adults: the Money Follows the Person (MFP) program and spousal impoverishment protections. Without congressional action, these programs will expire on September 30, 2027.
